Greedy Associates" wasted no time last week in spreading word that San Francisco's Pillsbury Madison & Sutro will raise its first-year associate salaries to an all-time high of $101,000 from $87,000 in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and San Diego and $88,000 in Los Angeles.
