California Tops Litigation Wave

California companies have more than their share of litigation, regardless of size or industry, according to the 2009 Litigation Trends Survey. While they were less likely to initiate lawsuits than companies in other regions, 91 percent of California companies had lawsuits commenced against them over the past year, compared with 83 percent of all U.S. companies in the survey.
