The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that a former college athlete can pursue a lawsuit against Redwood City-based video game publisher Electronic Arts Inc. for using his likeness in its "NCAA Football" series.
But experts are uncertain whether Tuesday's decision will affect how the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals approaches a similar case under consideration.
