S.F. School District Reaps $43.1 Million In Fraud Case

SAN FRANCISCO - A North Carolina energy company has agreed to pay San Francisco Unified School District $43.1 million to settle claims that it defrauded the school district and failed to perform a multimillion-dollar energy contract, leaving local schools with rusted boilers and chilly classrooms.
