Ex-Allergan attorney becomes Ultragenyx GC

The former associate general counsel of Allergan PLC, Karah Parschauer, has joined Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. in Novato, as executive vice president and general counsel.

The former associate general counsel of Allergan PLC, Karah Parschauer, has joined Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. in Novato, as executive vice president and general counsel.

Parschauer's time at Allergan was highly eventful, with the company narrowly avoiding a hostile takeover and eventually selling to Actavis PLC for around $66 billion.
