Mistrial declared in age discrimination case

A judge gave a jury a permanent holiday on Thursday from rendering a verdict in a multimillion dollar age discrimination trial pitting fired reporter Frank W. Snepp against KNBC Los Angeles.

A judge gave a jury a permanent holiday on Thursday from rendering a verdict in a multimillion dollar age discrimination trial pitting fired reporter Frank W. Snepp against KNBC Los Angeles.

Calling the jury "hopelessly deadlocked," Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephen M. Moloney declared a mistrial late on Christmas Eve morning following effectively four full days of deliberation.
