Isis Pharmaceuticals changed its name to Ionis Pharmaceuticals Friday, deciding it didn't want to share a name with a terrorist group.
Isis Pharmaceuticals changed its name to Ionis Pharmaceuticals Friday, deciding it didn't want to share a name with a terrorist group.
Ionis now will trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol IONS, replacing ISIS, effective when the market opens Tuesday. The company's new website is www.ionispharma.com
