Raiders cheerleaders settlement may inspire more suits against other teams

A $1.25 million settlement reached last week doesn't just put to rest claims that the Oakland Raiders should have paid wages and overtime to its cheerleaders. It also likely will gut another lawsuit that claims the NFL is jointly responsible.


The agreement, announced late Thursday, will pay more than three years' worth of wages to 90 cheerleaders and reimburse them for some business expenses....
