Labor numbers for August show growth in legal industry

New job numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that the legal industry saw its most significant jump in employment in a single month this year.

Employment in the legal industry spiked in August on a national level, reversing the slight downward turn last month, according to statistics released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday.


On the national level there are roughly 3,800 more people employed in the legal industry than there were at this time last year. About 3,300 legal jobs were added in August from July.
