Obama names ex-Twitter GC to White House post

Alexander Macgillivray named new deputy U.S. chief technology officer.

President Barack Obama named former Twitter Inc. general counsel Alexander Macgillivray as the new deputy U.S. chief technology officer.


Macgillivray will serve under the former vice president of new business development at Google, Megan Smith, who the president named as U.S. chief technology officer in same announcement.
