State judges pick a new executive

State judicial leaders on Tuesday selected an executive branch official who's reportedly respected within Gov. Jerry Brown's administration to head their oft-criticized bureaucracy.

SACRAMENTO - State judicial leaders on Tuesday selected an executive branch official who's reportedly respected within Gov. Jerry Brown's administration to head their oft-criticized bureaucracy. The move could show the branch's desire to increase the trust of the Brown administration, which wields enormous power over the judicial branch's ability to obtain funding increases.
