UCLA law dean Rachel Moran will step down

UCLA School of Law Dean Rachel Moran has announced she will not seek a second five-year term heading the school.


An expert in education law and critical race theory, Moran is a former president of the Association of American Law Schools. She also was one of several candidates vetted by Gov. Jerry Brown's office for a spot on the state Supreme Court earlier this year.
