State consumer affairs department gets new assistant GC

The governor announced Friday the appointment of a new assistant general counsel at the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Tamara Colson.

Gov. Jerry Brown announced Friday the appointment of a new assistant general counsel at the California Department of Consumer Affairs.


Republican Tamara Colson will be leaving her role as chief prosecuting counsel at the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to assume the position. Colson was appointed to her previous post by ABC director Timoth Gorsuch in 2011.
