Lawyer Joe Alioto must pay $31 million to lender, judge rules
San Francisco-based plaintiffs' lawyer Joseph M. Alioto must pay more than $31 million to a law finance lender, a San Francisco County judge has ruled.

San Francisco-based plaintiffs' lawyer Joseph M. Alioto must pay more than $31 million to a law finance lender, a San Francisco County judge has ruled.
Superior Court Judge James J. McBride recently granted summary judgment in favor of LFG National Capital LLC, which has been chasing $31 million after Alioto won more than $47 million in attorney fees last year for his representation in a federal price fixing class action.<...
