Brinker class action settlement only guarantees 40 percent of the money

A recent settlement of a class action between restaurant workers and the Brinker Restaurant Corp. allots $32.3 million to class members - but only if they all opt in.


A "reversion" clause in the deal, announced last week, only guarantees them 40 percent of that money in exchange for the release of their claims of missed meal and rest breaks.
