Judges Deny Medical Student Accommodation
LOS ANGELES - In a controversial split decision Wednesday, a federal appeals court held that a learning-impaired student failed to qualify as disabled under the Americans with Disability Act, even though the impairment was severe enough to prevent him from finishing medical school at the University of California, Davis.
