Lawyer Is Jailed for Stealing Clients' Settlements

LOS ANGELES - Former Santa Monica attorney John Patrick Maginnis, who represented one of the men convicted in the brutal attack on trucker Reginald O. Denny during the 1992 Los Angeles riots, was arrested Friday on felony grand theft charges for allegedly stealing from two clients.
