Clergy-Scandal Attorneys Seek Mediation End

LOS ANGELES - Signaling a breakdown in the year-old attempt to settle civil litigation over the Catholic Church sexual abuse scandal, plaintiffs' attorneys have petitioned to be released from mediation talks so they can go to trial against the Diocese of Orange on behalf of 50 people who claim they were molested by clergy.
