The owner of a Petaluma slaughterhouse became the latest to plead guilty to participating in a gruesome scheme to sell misbranded and uninspected meat, the U.S. attorney's office announced Wednesday.
Jesse Amaral Jr. owned Rancho Feeding Corp., which shuttered last year in the wake of a recall of 8.7 million pounds of meat.
