Paez and Berzon Win Senate Confirmation

WASHINGTON - The rhetoric flew for the final time, the vice president hovered to break any ties, and by the end of Thursday, the U.S. Senate confirmed Los Angeles federal District Judge Richard A. Paez and San Francisco labor lawyer Marsha Berzon to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
