Santa Clara County has a new county counsel: James R. Williams, a lawyer who's worked in the office since 2010.

Santa Clara County has a new county counsel: James R. Williams, a lawyer who has worked in the office since 2010.
Williams, 32, has been acting county counsel since Aug. 1, and was selected to retain the role by unanimous vote of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.
