'Sahara' Author Wins $15 Million Refund

Nearly $15 million in attorney fees that author Clive Cussler previously paid to a production company as part of the legal saga involving the movie "Sahara" must be returned, a judge ruled.

LOS ANGELES - Nearly $15 million in attorney fees that author Clive Cussler paid to a production company as part of the legal saga involving the movie "Sahara" must be returned, a judge has ruled.


Cussler and Crusader Entertainment - now known as Bristol Bay Productions - have been locked in litigation since 2004 over whether the author is owed money for two films based on his books.
