Right to Terminate Doesn't Include Right to Defame

Aug. 14, 2003) (amended opinion), the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals demonstrated that simply because an employer has the right to terminate an employee does not mean that the employer and its employees have free license to defame that employee.
