Twisted Logic

Forum Column - By Charles S. Doskow - Among the cases pending at the end of the U.S. Supreme Court's 2002-03 term was one expected to make important First Amendment law, Nike Inc. v. Kasky , 02-575. The case involved Nike's fight to defend itself against allegations of objectionable labor practices abroad, which the state Supreme Court hobbled in a significant decision last year. Review had been expected to clarify important free-speech doctrine.
