Mintz Levin nabs litigation group from Sedgwick in effort to grow West Coast presence
Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC nabbed two members specializing in product liability defense from Sedgwick LLP, the firm announced this week. Among them was Ralph A. Campillo, who made headlines in 2007 as lead counsel for Merck & Co. Inc. in a hard-fought lawsuit over the pharmaceutical giant’s pain medication Vioxx.
Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC has nabbed two members specializing in product liability defense from Sedgwick LLP. One of them was Ralph A. Campillo, who made headlines in 2007 as lead counsel for Merck & Co. Inc. in a hard-fought lawsuit over the pharmaceutical giant’s pain medication Vioxx.
The hires, which included two associates, were part of an effort to grow the Boston-based firm’s Los Angeles presence.
