Latham wins big for Arista in patent dispute with Cisco
Latham & Watkins LLP helped Arista Networks Inc. escape a $600 million requested penalty on Wednesday in a long-running patent infringement dispute brought by Cisco Systems Inc. The huge win came when the U.S. International Trade Commission rejected a request for enforcement against redesigned network switches, allowing Arista to continue selling its product in the United States.
