Dentons lawyer arrested on charge of extorting partners in LA
The FBI arrested a former attorney from Dentons U.S. LLP on Thursday for allegedly threatening to leak sensitive internal data to a legal blog unless the firm paid him hundreds of thousands of dollars. Michael Potere, a 32-year old associate with the firm’s Los Angeles office, will be arraigned on Friday, according to U.S. Attorney spokesman Thom Mrozek.
