Civil defense litigators moonlight as shelter dog saviors

Ingrid K. Campagne and Charles T. Sheldon, a married pair of Walsworth partners, have been rescuing shelter dogs through their Waggin’ Trails foundation since 2012.

When Charles T. Sheldon began dating fellow litigator Ingrid K. Campagne, his challenge was earning the approval of her Chihuahua, Max.

“Max was essentially Ingrid’s shadow,” Sheldon said of the early courtship. “But once I won Max over, then I think Ingrid thought the relationship potentially had a future.”
