Proposed sports field causes parking concern from LA Superior Court judges

A proposed sports complex that would take away Santa Monica Courthouse parking has prompted concerns about a lack of access to justice by Los Angeles Superior Court Presiding Judge Daniel J. Buckley, according to a letter the judge sent to city officials.

Under one of several proposals for the field that will go before the Santa Monica City Council Tuesday evening, an $8.6 million sports field would be installed temporarily over most of the parking lot.
