San Francisco-based Credit Karma has hired Susannah S. Wright to lead its in-house legal team as the company’s first general counsel.

“[Susannah] has long worked with regulators to solve complex compliance issues and brings a thoughtful approach to her practice,” Credit Karma founder and CEO Kenneth Lin said in an official release on June 20. “I am confident she will help us transform the consumer finance industry.”
