OC sheriff says she won’t run again
As arrangements were being made for Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens to testify in a superior court hearing investigating alleged discovery violations connected to informants in her jails, she announced Tuesday she will not seek re-election when her term ends in January 2019.
SANTA ANA — As arrangements were being made for Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens to testify in a superior court hearing investigating alleged discovery violations connected to informants in her jails, she announced Tuesday she will not seek re-election when her term ends in January 2019.
Hutchens has spent nearly 40 years in law enforcement, the last 10 1/2 as sheriff.
