State appeals court tosses out $48M verdict in product liability case

The 2nd District Court of Appeal has thrown out a $48.2 million judgment against Johnson & Johnson and its consumer healthcare division, McNeil, money awarded to a man in 2011 who had suffered severe health effects from taking the pain reliever Motrin.
