Laurie Rubiner, a former Planned Parenthood executive and senior adviser to former Sen. Hillary Clinton, will begin work in September as the CEO of the Alliance for Children’s Rights, the legal nonprofit announced Wednesday.
She’ll replace Janis Spire, the Los Angeles nonprofit’s current chief executive, who plans to retire later this year.
