Peace reigns in Middle Earth after five-year battle
A five-year legal battle over digital exploitation of "The Hobbit" franchise was laid to rest on Monday with a settlement between the estate of fantasy author J.R.R. Tolkien along with book publisher HarperCollins versus Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., subsidiary New Line Cinema and rights-holder Saul Zaentz Co.
