Judge dismisses five more charges in Colonies corruption trial

Prosecutors in a seven-month corruption trial lost five more charges to dismissal on Monday and Tuesday, bringing the final total to seven since they rested including two from last week.

The original 29 charges covering four defendants now number 12 as the defense prepares to present its case to the jury starting next week.
