OC judge grants unusual Pitchess motion in jailhouse informant case
The defense attorney is seeking material in sheriff’s deputies’ personnel files that may impeach their supervisors’ testimony, a use of Pitchess that the judge said he hasn’t seen before but is not precluded by case law.
