The Howrey LLP estate on Friday agreed to settle claims against Baker & Hostetler LLP worth $37 million over its recruitment of 11 former Howrey partners. The estate claimed the firm wrongly kept the proceeds from work those partners began at Howrey and took to their new firm. The deal also allows the estate to recover future profits from work that has not yet been completed.
