Sheldon Siegel's latest book, "The Terrorist Next Door," follows Detective David Gold and his new partner as they hunt a bomber across Chicago's colorful neighborhoods.


Detective David Gold thought the nightmare was over after he helped thwart a Chicago graduate student's plan to set off a bomb at the Art Institute - a heroic effort that left Gold hospitalized and his partner dead.
