Polly Carroll Horn, a class action defense lawyer who entered the legal profession in middle age and went on to become a founding partner of Quinn Kully & Morrow and, later, of the Los Angeles office of Arnold & Porter LLP, died Memorial Day following a long illness. She was 78.
