Pay gap a popular, politically correct myth

The so-called "pay gap" referenced by Jeffrey Lowe in his article "Equal pay bill a much needed fix," March 14, in which women earn 77 cents for every dollar earned by men in the workplace, is nothing more than a popular, politically correct myth. In fact, when you consider all of the factors a person brings to the workplace, it is men who often earn less than women.

The pay gap is based on a snapshot of average yearly full-time incomes. It does not account for overtime, hours worke...
