Equal Rights Advocates thanks group's supporters
At an October event, "What Makes a Leader?" in the San Francisco office of the Equal Rights Advocates, executive director Noreen Farrell thanked the organization's supporters. She also called for continued commitment to pursuing gender equality in the workplace through legal action. Earlier this year, the nonprofit legal organization won a $812,000 verdict in a sexual harrassment employment lawsuit for its client, Maria Bojorquez. -Laura Hautala
