Hurd Settles Lawsuit Filed by HP
The former CEO of Hewlett-Packard Co. agreed to trade stock for his new job at rival Oracle Corp.

PALO ALTO - Just hours after Hewlett-Packard Co. and its former chief executive officer Mark Hurd were ready to do battle over a proposed temporary restraining order that would have blocked him from working at rival Oracle Corp., the two sides announced a settlement.
