S.D. Pension Fraud Case Abandoned

Good news for the five defendants charged with honest services fraud involving the city of San Diego's retirement system, the U.S. attorney's office notified the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that it is withdrawing its appeal of a lower court ruling dismissing the indictment.

SAN DIEGO - Good news came Monday for the five defendants charged with honest services fraud involving the city of San Diego's retirement system - the U.S. attorney's office notified the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that it is withdrawing its appeal of a lower court ruling dismissing the indictment.
