Bet Tzedek appointed Elissa Barrett as vice president and general counsel. She succeeds Michelle Williams Court, who was recently appointed a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge. Barrett joins the agency from Progressive Jewish Alliance, where she was executive director and chief of regional operations following PJA's merger with Jewish Funds for Justice.
