SANTA ANA - A federal judge on Tuesday sentenced a former Orange County lawyer to 70 months in prison for cheating clients and others out of more than $4 million in a bogus investment scheme.
Gerald M. Shaw stole from his victims while an attorney, U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney said during the two-hour sentencing hearing.
