State Bar near zero on discipline backlog

The State Bar has eliminated the backlog of discipline cases under investigation out of its Los Angeles office, bar President Jon M. Streeter said last week.

SANTA ANA - The State Bar has eliminated the backlog of discipline cases under investigation out of its Los Angeles office, bar President Jon M. Streeter announced.


Speaking to a meeting of the bar Board of Governors on Wednesday, Streeter said some San Francisco investigations remain, as well as a number of other cases awaiting filing of formal charges.
