Panel makers will pay $539 million in settlement with consumers

Seven companies that manufacture display panels used in computers, cell phones and television screens have agreed to pay $539 million to a class of consumers to resolve price-fixing claims.

SAN FRANCISCO -Seven companies that manufacture display panels used in computers, cell phones and television screens have agreed to pay $539 million to a class of consumers to resolve part of a massive price-fixing complaint pending in the Northern District.
