Sole practitioner named as bankruptcy judge

Redding sole practitioner Fredrick E. Clement has been appointed to the Eastern District bankruptcy bench, the 9th Circuit announced Wednesday.

Redding sole practitioner Fredrick E. Clement has been appointed to the Eastern District bankruptcy bench, the 9th Circuit announced Wednesday.

Clement, 51, will fill the judgeship to be vacated by Bankruptcy Judge Whitney Rimel, who plans to retire March 15. Clement, who will keep chambers in Fresno, graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 1987.
