Zep Solar Inc. of San Rafael on Tuesday filed a patent infringement suit against Westinghouse Solar and several other companies, claiming they violated Zep's patents in creating a solar panel-joining mount.
Zep's suit claims the product is a knock-off of its patented Zep Interlock System, which allows for relatively easy solar panel mounting and grounding.
