Fee approved to fund green energy programs

The California Public Utilities Commission has found a way to continue collecting for another year money it uses to fund green energy initiatives.

PALO ALTO - The California Public Utilities Commission has found a way to continue collecting for another year money it uses to fund green energy initiatives. The utilities regulator voted Thursday to enact another fee on investor-owned utility customers that is almost identical to the old one.
